Our History

1st August 1989

Ayres Bright Vickers was formed in 1989, bringing together the experience of two qualified and experienced accountants: Bob Ayres and Alastair Vickers. Formerly part of three regional offices, and now established in Worthing, Bob and Alastair’s joint partnership, developed into a highly successful, customer-focused business.

24th June 1991

Andrew Dalglish joins the firm as trainee accountant following a work experience placement with the firm the previous summer.

7th February 1994

Paul Stone joins the firm as audit and accounts manager. He qualifies as a Chartered Accountant the following year.

1st August 1998

Paul is promoted to Partner but retains control of the audit and accounts department. Andrew is promoted to assistant manager.

1st August 2006

Bob Ayres retires and hands over his portfolio of clients to Paul. Andrew takes over the role of manager within the audit and accounts department.

1st May 2011

Andrew is admitted as Partner of the firm.

1st November 2011

Alastair Vickers retires and hands over his portfolio of clients to Andrew.

31st July 2014

The firm celebrates its 25th Anniversary of being in business.
